A lone samurai on horseback ascends a mist-covered mountain path at dawn, pine trees fading into fog, his cloak soaked, carrying a small wrapped bundle with a faded red Takeda crest, atmosphere of solitude and tension.

Still waters shimmer, clarity beneath the calm, motion without rush.

“Deep Pool” is one translation of my birth family name, Fukazawa. It reminds me that calmness is not absence of depth — it is the surface of understanding. These stories are fiction, but their silence is real.

World of Kai

The banners of Takeda once ruled these mountains. Now the red crests hang torn in the wind.

Amid betrayal and famine, three wanderers cross the dying land: a masterless retainer, a widow weaving secrets, and a monk who sells truth.

Their world is quiet — but beneath its calm surface, every reflection hides a blade.

Season 1
Three people walking along a rocky path beside a stream in a winter landscape with leafless trees. One man is dressed in armor and holding a sword; a woman in traditional clothing and a cloak walks beside him; another man with a staff follows behind. There are two flags with symbols flying in the background, and the scene is set against a large sun or moon in the sky.

The Philosophy

“Honor is not a code. It is a memory — and memories fade.”

The Samurai Chronicles explores the silence after battle: how men justify cruelty, how women survive within obedience, and how truth endures in reflection.
Beauty here is imperfect. Loyalty is temporary. Only consequence remains.
